Have you ever tried to create hills but they turned out to be rubbish? or un-realistic? Well using this technique should help you. And here is the step by step guide. 1. Using the Cliff Tool & the Tiny Brush paint a mixture of 4,8 & 12 elevations. 4 should be the most common, 8 a little bit less and 12 fairly uncommon. It should look like this 2. Now using the Cliff Paths Tool, paint over ALL the cliffs and your end result should look something like this.

That's the only good way to make decent elevation. The Hill tool messes the heck out of the map.

Just right click and hold, then lift up, when making hills, and overlap and stuff as necessary. That's what I do. Of course, the image is forbidden so I can't see the end result you're going for.

the hill tool doesnt provide a smooth finish as such. It ends up with a very lumpy texture.
