Need help with ingame video sound

I'm trying to put a pre-game music video to my scenario. Video is good but can't hear sound. I was told to put the sound file(.wav) as a trigger to scenario. How is this trigger done?

Also, I was told that the video must be 8 bits, mono and 22hz. How do I set these?

I would be grateful if this is going to be solved.

Hitjuich would be the most recent guy here to use this, I believe. But if I remember correctly:

for the video: convert it to bik file, using the Bink video format:

for the sound, I think you need to use the media effects and quote/ send its file name in there. Just try please and let us know.

My problem is that the wav. plays at the start of scenario, not in the movie.

All triggers is checked at the same time so since the trigger is always true the sounds is played. If it should be should be played during a movie you need to set it during that trigger. Also you should set a check in "Included in cinema". Also you will need a start-cinematic and end-cinematic effect.

My intro movie is not a "cinematic", it's a movie. And the sound is missing. I'm not sure how to set audio during that movie. Is it a some kind of a trigger or something else?

I also came up with a few questions, if someone here knows the answers for those:

1.How do I set a rain effect in scenario? A trigger perhaps?
2.I saw Hitjuich playing Eggman's Rome campaign. In one scenario there seems to be a changed angle for camera. How's this?
3.I know the best way to gain knowledge is by using editor itself, but I still ask is there any crucial things about the editor I should know?

Hi Aracuan

1) Rain is a trigger if I remember correct it is a calamity which work in an area you specify. It stops after 60 seconds or so it need to be looping. Like
TriggerRain (looping, alwaysTrue) then
Calamity Rain and TriggerRain off and (delay 60 seconds) TriggerRainOn

2) You can specifiy camera angles during cut scenes with the script-camera effect.

3) There are no unified guide but there are several guides and tips on EEH forum. Remember to save your your scenario often since the game often crashes in the editor. (Quick Save does not work). When I first learned about all the different triggers I looked at the original scenarios from the campaign and tried to understand what was going on behind the scenes.

The triggers are still quite confusing to me, but like I said I elsewhere, I'll try to use them systematically in my scenario.

Yes, the game crashes in the editor quite often, so I make multiple saves to my scenario(save_1, save_2 etc...

I think the file itself is the problem, maybe during conversion? I've tested some bink movies I currently have, and all of them have sounds when played as an EE movie. Yours doesn't play with sounds, unfortunately.

I hope there is a way to make my .bik work with sounds.

It didn't work. There is still no sound on the video when watching in-game.

The problem seems to be that when I convert the Bik.file to another form(for example avi or mp4), the file becomes corrupt and the sound in-game wont play. So I ask is there any way to edit the video without coverting it from Bik.?
