This is a guide on how to add sounds to dialogue to your scenario which only takes max 2 hours for a scenario.
The correct way of doing this is of course to record all the dialogues and add them as .mp3 files. However, as someone who has done this once I understand if you do not want to do that as this is a very tedious process.
Here in 2022 we have different tools than back in the early 00´s. One thing is there is online text to speech AI tools which is actually decent. From a design point I understand if you rather you have a silent scenario as well than an AI speaking.
In English here are quite a range of voices with different accents as well. Many of these online tools can create 10 - 20 files before demanding payment (or deleting cookies). You can try them out. Some websites will have better AI than others. I recommend to experiment with different websites.
You should make sure the files is saved as a .mp3 file. You will most likely need to increase the volume of the file with about 200%. Again several online tools are available.
The sounds should be added to your ..\data\sounds. If the sounds is called Intro you should simply add Intro.mp3 on sounds. Note that the duration in seconds works differently then adding sounds as it will play the sound and then add the amount of seconds you write in that field. However, it will out about 5% of the audio out so write something like 1 second in the field for each line of text.
And this is how you add sounds to your scenario. It should max take 2 hours.

If you are up to getting this up over in EEH, buddy, you can provide screenshots. This will be a very welcome addition to the guides section!
